News

The EU Machinery Directive 98/37/EC will be replaced by the 2006/42/EC on 29 Dec 2009.  While it is extensively similar, there is verbage that may make it broader reaching than the original directive.  If you claim compliance with the MD, you must comply with the new directive on the enforcement date.  As the enforcement date approaches, there should be more guidelines published to determine its impact on valves and actuators.
