News

The EU Machinery Directive 98/37/EC was replaced by the 2006/42/EC on 29 Dec 2009.  While it is extensively similar, there is verbage that makes it broader reaching than the original directive.  There are currently several trade association opinions that it may apply to actuated valves and valve actuators.
